Order Policy

A. ORDERING

Orders can be securely placed through our website shop using Visa, Mastercard, Discover Card, and American Express. In addition, we accept PayPal. Orders are fully secured by Cybersource. For individuals who wish to place an order via phone, you may call us, Monday through Friday (9am to 5pm EST).

B. SHIPPING

We understand the precision and timeliness required when testing environmental samples. That’s why Test It Today provides customers with simple, efficient options for getting Testing Kits quickly sent to them and efficiently turned around back to our lab for analysis and reporting.

B1. Shipping Testing Kit Samples To You

Sample kits are typically shipped out Monday through Friday, via UPS. Please read the product description for your desired testing kit to determine which shipping options are available and recommended. Generally speaking, testing kits may be shipped over via Overnight Shipping, 2-Day Shipping and regular Ground Shipping (5 to 7 Business Days). Items are packaged and protected well, and are able to sustain normal transit handling. Please fully inspect your sample kit to ensure that it contains all of the documentation and components outlined in the Test Kit Documentation or product description. This typically includes instructions, chain of custody form and sampling device or container.

If the Test Kit is physically defective or damaged, it is important to refuse the delivery. We will send a replacement immediately after we receive confirmation from our carrier that the item has been damaged during transit. All shipments are completely insured for the total dollar value.

B2. Shipping Testing Kit Samples Back To Us

Prior to shipping your sample(s) back to us, please ensure that the sample is carefully placed in the return package and that the flap is firmly sealed. (If your testing service does not require a designated test kit please ensure the sample is safely secured in a sealable ziploc bag with the sample submission form filled out.) Then, place the return package in your mailbox (or deliver it to your mail carrier). If shipping via expedited mail (i.e., Overnight or 2-Day Express), we recommend obtaining equal-value insurance and a shipment tracking number from the courier.

For samples that are time-sensitive, please make sure to mail the package back within the window of time that is outlined in your Test Kit documentation, in particular within 30 hours (overnight shipping) from the time the sample was collected for e.coli and total coliform testing in water samples – please plan sample collection and shipping accordingly.

C. RETURNS/EXCHANGES

C1. RETURNS

Test Kits may be returned, unused, unopened and with all supporting materials and documentation, within 30 days of the original purchase date, for a full refund (minus a 10% restocking fee for shipping, handling and payment processing costs).

C2. EXCHANGES

We accept exchanges for Test Kits, within 30 days of the original purchase date. Test Kits must be returned, unused and unopened, with all supporting materials and documentation, for an item of equal or lesser value (the difference will be refunded for exchanges with a lower cost item).

D. WARRANTY INFORMATION

No extended warranties are available for Test Kits. However, Test Kits that possess a defect in material or workmanship are eligible for a full refund. Such defects must be reported and returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. A full refund will be reimbursed should the Test Kit be determined to be defective.
